The Employment and Training Administration congratulates the eleven grantee teams who participated in the Career Pathways Technical Assistance Initiative. Over the course of the year, each grantee made significant progress with designing career pathway systems within their states and local communities. We are pleased to announce the completion of a number of tools and resources to assist state and local leadership with building comprehensive career pathway systems. The most recent publication is the Career Pathways Toolkit: Six Key Elements for Success. This Toolkit offers a clear and user-friendly road map for administrators, service providers, practitioners, and policy makers seeking to develop career pathway systems at local, regional, and/or state levels. It details the Six Key Elements Framework, highlights promising practices, and provides tools designed to support visioning and strategic planning. You can view and download the Toolkit from this Community of Practice in the Resources section. Also, available for view or download is the illustrated overview of the Six Key Element Graphic Framework. You can also find the Online Readiness Assessment Tool to help determine your level of progress in designing, developing, and implementing career pathways system elements in the Resources section. ETA hopes that these tools and resources will continue to help you develop your career pathways systems and that you continue using this Community of Practice for sharing new information and lessons learned with your peers.
